Avani broke her Paralympic record from Tokyo 2020 to become the most decorated female Paralympic athlete from India. Mona Aggarwal won bronze in the same event. India won two medals in the shooting event as Mona Agarwal, 36, clinched a bronze medal.

In a remarkable feat, Indian para-athlete Preeti Pal clinched a bronze medal in the 100m T35 event at the Paris Paralympics.
