The UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that 40000 aspirants are going to be hired in the immediate future with the help of (UPSSSC) Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. This statement was made by the CM of Uttar Pradesh while presiding over a function at Lucknow when he was distributing appointment letters to 647 newly recruited forest guards and wildlife guards. He said that his government has been hiring employees in a very transparent manner which wasn’t the case in previous governments. UPSSSC aspirants expressed happiness after the announcement. Recruitment Milestone: 647 Forest and Wildlife Guards Appointed

Praising the government’s efforts to maintain and enrich forest treasury, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 647 forest guards and wildlife guards deputed at Lok Bhavan while the 41 junior engineers selected for the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board also received appointment letters from the Chief Minister. At this time, the CM felt it worthwhile to look back at some of the issues the state has encountered in their recruitment before 2017. He ranted the previous administrations in the country for non transparent recruitment practices which needed court intervention.

Six Lakh Youth Employed Under Yogi Government

Hence, the Yogi Adityanath led government after assuming office also has been quite proactive in the appointment process of various sectors. The CM also talked that during his tenure, six and a half lakh youths have got job. In particular, 1.55 lakh constable positions were created, and in addition to that, 1 lakh police vacancies were recruited across the country. 64 lakh teachers. Yogi pointed out clearly stating that no prejudicial appointments were made and no one received any bribes for their appointment unlike what was experienced in the previous governments. He said UPSSSC exam will also be held in transparent manner only.

Attacking the Opposition: No More Backdoor Entries

During his speech, Yogi blamed the opposition for their misdeeds in the previous term especially in the issue of recruitment. He asked why there were such issues ever requiring judicial to call for a cease of unfair recruitment practices in the past? To the CM, prior to the year 2017, the process of recruitment was usually tainted with the vice as most of the appointments were determined by nepotism and favouritism where relatives and friends of the givers held sway. That will never the case with Yogi’s government and likewise UPSSSC exam will be conducted smoothly as well.

Women in Focus: Over 124 Women Recruited

Of the 688 appointments made at the event, over 124 were women, reflecting the state’s growing focus on gender inclusivity. This gender inclusivity will continue to happen in next exams also. Like UPSSSC. Yogi pointed out that before his administration took over, it was nearly impossible for a fair recruitment process to take place. The selection boards of that time were under suspicion, many still facing CBI investigations for corrupt practices.

Clean Recruitment Process: Zero Tolerance for Bribery

CM Yogi made it clear that recommendations and bribery played no part in the current recruitment processes. He assured the newly appointed candidates that merit alone would continue to drive the selection process. The government, he stated, expects the same level of integrity from the newly recruited workforce. Also ,UPSSSC exam will also be held in transparent manner, he insisted.

Tackling Unfair Practices: New Laws in Place

Yogi also highlighted the Prevention of Unfair Means in Public Examination Act-2024, designed to keep public exams and recruitment processes transparent and corruption-free. This move ensures that the youth of Uttar Pradesh have fair access to job opportunities without interference from unfair practices.

A Clear Message: Transparency and Accountability in Governance

By staging this event, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, made it a point to stress on elements of openness and responsiveness in government. His administration has done a lot in trying to make recruitment exercise to be as free from bias as possible unlike some time ago. The UP government is as anxious as any to offer a worthy youth of the state genuine opportunities for employment, without having to involve bribery or nepotism.

One can easily infer that the government’s plans of recruiting more candidates through UPSSSC are aimed at controlling unemployment in Uttar Pradesh. Also through UPSSSC more candidates including girls will get opportunity to get jobs for their future. The Yogi Adityanath’s government aims at establishing a merit and integrity based system where all those seeking employment have equal chance of being employed. As new laws are passed against unfair acts and with an emphasis on tolerance, UP is creating a foundation on a fair and effective recruitment system.
